A successful nursery is combination of skilled and caring people with efficient and effective key policies. We acknowledge that our key policies and procedures are fundamental to ensuring we maintain the highest standards at all times. There are over 65 policies and procedures that govern the way we operate our nursery and these will be openly published to parents, carers and Ofsted alike. These include health and safety, equal opportunities, child behaviour, parent partnership, staffing, nursery operations and child protection.
Our policy content is provided by management and staff, and also by referring to third party organisations such as the NDNA, who keep a library of best practice documents. Our Policy document can be viewed
here
and we welcome parent and carer feedback to any of our policies.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding and child protection at our nursery is a vital element of our daily practice. Our staff are trained to understand our safeguarding policy and procedures, as well as to know exactly what to do in any given situation where a child’s safety and welfare may be at risk. In addition to this, we have Safeguarding Leads at nursery to support any concerns. Our Safeguarding poster can be viewed here.
